An unexpected side-effect of the recent heat wave for me is that my refridgerator is running out of food. It's not that there is a food shortage or anything. Since I don't have a car, I usually either take public transit or go with my bicycle. Given that the temperatures are reaching 40°C (100°F) lately, I simply prefer not to venture out unless necessary. And grocery shopping didn't seem necessary until I just realized I'm running out of food soon. So what am I going to do? Either wait for a break from the weather in a couple of days, or buy my grocery online and have them delivered?  click here to continue reading »

My list of elder blog bookmarks is getting very long these days. It is taking a lot of time to browse through so many blogs. Sometimes when I get to the end of the list, I wonder if I have missed any and have to go back to some to double check. So, I thought it would be great if there is a list of all the recent blog posts in one place. As a result, I have added this new feature on The Elders Tribune which does exactly that. I think many people will find this useful too.

This is different from a regular blog list, where that just list the web addresses. This Planet Elders page pulls all the title and a short preview of each and every post from a list of websites. It is updated automatically and is always fresh with the latest materials from elder bloggers on the web. As you might have noticed, The Elders Tribune has a new design. The changes are mostly with regard to the layout and use of colors. I am trying to make the website look cleaner and easier to navigate. Do let me know if you like it or not. The design will not change much from now on. I will continue with minor tweaking to improve your experience.
